1940’s Simmons Dresser – Mid Century

$955.00

1940’s Simmons Dresser — 40″ W x 19″ D, 36″ H

Original and completely intact American Depression era lowboy dresser cabinet designed and fabricated by the simmons mfg. co., Kenosha, Wisc.

The pressed and folded metal dresser was patented by Albert Witike in the 1930’s. Dresser contains multiple sliding drawers with original knob pulls.  The wooden drawer slides help keep it quite when pulling out the drawers. Nice!

The lowboy dresser or cabinet has been chemically stripped down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. What this means is no remnant paint anywhere, not even inside the drawers.
Great overall condition. Strong and sturdy!
