Little is known about this hand built hand crafted masterpiece. Truly a gorgeous find!! All we know is that it was built by a San Diego man in 1914. His grandson explained that his grandfather would take him out sailing as a young boy. Memories of dreamy, childhood fun is how it was explained to us by the gentlemen telling the stories. As well, this boat graced a local museum for approximately 60yrs until early this year.
I doubt it would be usable since it is so old but it can be part of another museum or your very own nautical collection.
It is really en Vogue to stand a boat vertically and use as a chic shelving unit or a book shelf.

Keep in mind these crates are OLD and have been Abused over the years by hard working fruit growers during harvest season. Portions of the wood boards may have cracks or chips missing, With that said they are still in good stable condition. These crates come straight from farms, barns, vineyards, and bottling companies, therefore a good wash is recommended to remove dirt & grime.

Before we ship out or hand deliver we make sure that the ends, sides and bottoms are intact.

There are a few people who want perfection – Please don’t expect it from these OLD crates. Rather, perfection would be found with brand new crates at a department store…
